Indepth look at the Maxpedition Lunada.

Not to drift too much, but are malice clips still available? The new tac ties are sort of a PITA to use...

Should be, anywhere that sells maxpedition usually has malice clips in a "misc" section.

I love my Lunada. I wear it kind of backwards- with the main strap across my chest and the bag hanging sideways or almost upside down. I've found that I can wear it in conjuncton with a back back that way.

In regards to the tac ties, I like them better than the malice clips because you dont need a "tool" to undo them and they are very secure.

Thanks for the review Fonly. I've been looking for a new EDC bag to replace my old Tour Master backpack and just ordered one of these two days ago. Looks like it will serve my purposes well.

Hey! Great job on the video review Fonly!! So much better than pictures to get a good idea of a product. That lunada looks great for EDC with all the compartments  Nice vid man!

i know that this is an old thread and all, but i am about to purchase one of these with a few questions for those experienced with this pack. Can someone verify from experience that when, say, full out sprinting, that there is very minimal movement of the pack. Also, does wearing the pack become uncomfortable over some continuous time because of it only having one strap. Any input will be helpful.

bxrad36, I have the Lunada and just today I was out in the woods walking when my beagle Kelly Girl picked up the scent of a rabbit and took off like a shot running and howling, Well I wanted to keep up with Kelly Girl some what lol. I was not at a dead assed run, but close enough I was hopping over downed trees and branches and running zig zag around standing trees trying to keep up with Kelly Girl. We did this run for about a 120 yards, then K.G. lost the trail and then circled and picked it up and was off again for 40 more yards she chased that rabbit in to a brush pile. While she looked in the brush pile I sucked wind lol

My Lunada, stayed right in Place all that time I was running. I am very pleased with this pack.

As to the carry of pack I think it rides very nicely and I carry roughly 14 pounds in mine. I as of right now I do not see it being any problem to carry it all day. I have only had mine for about 3 weeks now. The longest I have carried it was just under 3 hours. It is a pretty cool pack. I really like the the way you can switch the sling so you can wear it on the right or left side.
Not sure if you know this but is does come with 2 straps that is why it stays in place. Great design.

Hope this helps ya.
