indispensible woods item

Keep a pair, in a glove keeper on the top of my pack. With a pair of stretch gloves for liners they are not bad a back up winter glove if you primarys are wet.

The pair in this pic currently ride in my gear bag.

Guyon - In ur glove picture, wat kind of compass is that, watz it mounted on?

It takes very little to govern good people. Very little. And bad people can’t be governed at all. Or if they could I never heard of it.

I've fallen in love with Grier's Kangaroo leather gloves...these things are the best I've used (leather-wise); thin, excellent dexterity, tough-as-nails and they don't stiffen up when they get wet. I have a black pair for work (Army) and a tan/gold color for backpacking, woodsbumming and camping.

I still keep a pair of glove liners or wool gloves for keeping the fingers warm, but keeping your fingers (plus your feet and eyes) safe is critical!
