Inexpensive knife that every knife guy (or gal) should own

All I've learned so far is that some peoples definition of "inexpensive" is different than mine. For perspective, the most I've ever spent on one of my non-kitchen knives is $62... for a BK2. I tend to think of "inexpensive" as $15-30.

Another two worth mentioning with great histories are the Douk-douk and the Higonokami.

Mora

Spyderco Delica/Endura

Everyone knows or has seen these somewhere.

Rat 1 or 2.
Victorinox SAK of some kind.

Ka-Bar USMC.

And yeah...I can go with a Sharpfinger.

They come a bit rough, but there is a great blade in there if you are willing to sharpen it up and make it how you want..

Nobody has mentioned the Becker 11 or 14, or the Becker 16 or 17.

I think the Kabar is a good idea. And the Delica or Dragonfly, but those are stretching the definition of inexpensive.

Victorinox super tinker, huntsman or farmer for folders.
A Mora for a fixed blade.

It amazes me how the value for the dollar of these two knives puts them amongst the ranks of higher end knives for me. Not long ago I sold off nearly my entire knife collection of mid grade knives and went to all Hinderer and Busse but my SAKs and Mora remained after the cleanse and upgrade.

Kershaw Link 1776

Corona pruning saw 7" or 10"

Yes  big time to the Delica or Endura and I can't argue with an Opinel # 5 or 6.
I carried Bucks and Kershaws in my younger years but I now decidedly favor those above.
