Inexpensive knives for co workers...

Don't waste your money on a knife for those morons; they might hurt themselves. Get them each a $5 prybar.

nobleman, my son has one and it's a great knife, came shave sharp holds an edge real well, looks nice (if ya like that kinda knife;)) has a clip, slim, decent ergo's and is an all around great buy for the $20 bucks it cost me:thumbup:
very nice of you to do this for them:thumbup:
ivan

This is what came to my mind. This is really good 440a. Frame lock, PB washers, a good solid package.

Get them an opinel each, awesome folding knife. Does what a knife is made to do, cut like a razor, and dirt cheap to boot
would learn pretty quick that its not a pry bar as well

Thanks for the suggestions guys....checking into the buck nobleman and Ontario folder now.

Buck Vantage, several handle/steel options to fit your price point.

They are actually what I'm getting this year for that same reason!

I'm in exactly the same situation. I'm looking at the Benchmade Pika and and Vex. Also some of the more in expensive Kershaws (maybe blems). Or maybe the Byrd Cara Cara.

I've given a couple of CRKT's, Kershaws a cold steel and two leathermans as gifts to work buddies. Mostly they seem to get lost or left at a bar or something

+3 on the ontario rat..findem all day for $21-$25 and keep in mind this knife originally sold for $89.. the best deal ive seen for a knife under $60 and is also great for all the reasons they would b using them. check it out!

Might be nice engraved with the company name eh? interesting.

This is one of my original considerations...it looks good on paper. Slender and robust looking knife and great blade shape and geometry i think.

A lot of good picks .. for the co-worker that "jimmies doors" with a knife get him a CRKT Graham Razel in a fixed blade (a little more expensive).

+1:thumbup:
The small one can be had for about $20 and the large for $25 all with 420hc. Step up to the 13c26 for about $32 and s30v with g-10 $45.

Crkt drifter or if you look certain sites have the Benchmade vex for 26.99.

Yeah Drifter would be a great knife, not too big not too small, and its got a great, hard-working lock (frame lock).

And cheap, too, at $17-$20

My favorite knives for gifts are Swiss army knives. They are cheap and a great knife for a non-knife nut. Plenty of screwdriver bits on them for when they get the urge to pry.

KaBar Dozier is great, but you can get a Buck 110 Folding Hunter at Wally World for $27.00 or so, and it's tough as nails. Not a one hand opener, but you can do it if you practice.

Good luck, and Merry Christmas!

If you like them- Spydie Tenacious, otherwise some offering from the Byrd line or an Opinel (cant get much simpler than that ;) ).

I think ive decided on either the Buck Vantage in 420 or the CRKT Drifter with the frame lock. Still not sure but those look like real good canidates
