Inexpensive Slipjoints

Imperial aren't bad at all. $11.00 for a large Stockman from SMKW.
Didn't know they brought back the Imperial trade mark. Schrade owned it before they went out of business. Of course SMKW has sold the Schrade trademark now. Did they keep the Imperial? My first two pocket knives as a kid were Imperials.

The oldtimer knives made in china are decent from what i have seen. Ive had some of the chinese bucks and they wede good knives. I gave all my groomsman at our wedding the buck 371 large stockman. My uncle carries it everyday and has for the last 12 years.
Alot of good choices in that price range

I have a Victorinox Pioneer X and Buck 375 in my pocket right now. Affordable and very serviceable. Pioneer X too expensive? Try a Recruit. One of my favs and disappears in a pocket. The 375 is very small though (chapstick sized when closed).

Kershaw makes some decent traditional lockbacks but then again for that price you can aslo get some very nice old school trads like a green Schrade 50T!

Personally though for cheap slippies I like to stay in the Buck and RR zone vs the other brands.

You can also sometimes find Case closeouts. One of my faves that I don't carry much anymore is a Case wharncliffe sisgle blade mini trapper

I'm looking for some brands that make inexpensive slipjoints. I know of Rough Rider, but I'm just wondering if there is anymore out there. I'm looking to stay in that Rough Rider price range of $15 to $30. Thanks!

The couple War Eagle knives I've handled were pretty nice. They're A.G. Russell's budget line.
