What a grand time!! If WV wasn't so far away I would have loved to join the fun!! Thanks for all the pics and stories looking forward to more.

Thanks for the pictures! Looks like a beautiful place and a total success. Could I get a RV in there? :D

Looks like a fun time.

I've only ever met one other Busse collector in the real world. I met up with him while on vacation at my inlays in Utah. It was gun, and I made a life long friend. Wife thought was crazy to go meet a stranger at a park. He is kind of out of the Busse scene, but makes beautiful custom slip joints and fixed blades now.

Big thanks to Ben for hosting, Doug for breakfast, Rick for dinner, Anthony for the fire to keep us warm, and Brandon for the huge tarp that kept us dry. Good thing that you guys took pics so I didn't have to. ;)

You know what's missing from all that collection? The Basic 9 that needs to come to me. It's out there somewhere.

Awesome stuff fellas!!! Looks like a cracker of a time. Wish I lived closer :/ Epic knife droolage.

Any estimate to how much money worth of knives was there?

It's probably best to not even think of that, but somewhere between a lot and a real lot.

Possibly, but it really depends on the size. The driveway is about 1000' feet of leaf covered gravel that a Honda Fit was able to traverse; however, there are a lot of tree branches that I have never thought to trim high enough for an RV. The driveway is wide enough for my Hummer, but there a couple bends that might be a little tough for an RV to handle. There is probably enough room to turn around up where the camp was made, but it may require an Austin Powers style 100 point turn. Worst-case you could park at the bottom of the driveway and just walk to your RV when you wanted to sleep, my driveway is off of a private road so it's a safe place to park.

Basic 9 was there. You could have had a nice weekend affair. She is crying for being ignored, along with the chopweiler and dogfather le. More knives than time this weekend.

I'm hoping I'll be able to make the next one, (And bring a jar of good Tennessee Corn liquor) where Drill won't interfere with the schedule! Those are some awesome pictures, guys- looks like it was a great time!

But she didn't come home with me. :grumpy:

We did miss out putting it up against the Light Chopper.

Even with fear of the comments, I'll say that the light chopper is a beast comparatively. I want one now, the 1311 is now on my radar as well.

Brandon I have tried my darndest to get Josiah to make me a GT-1 but he either never checks his email or doesn't want to reply to me. That is a sweet knife man:thumbup:

You said it,, looking back I wish I had another dry day to make sure none of those beauties got neglected.

Fantastic pictures! Beautiful piece of land and it looks like everyone had a great time. Sorry I wasn't able to make it this time but am fighting health problems, temporarily, I hope. While I don't have very many Busse's at this time, I do have a few guns, some camping gear, love to cook over a fire with my cast iron skillets and dutch ovens, a good camera, a friendly nature, a 4WD Ford F150, and am within reasonable driving distance living near I-70 in southwest Ohio. I certainly hope to be able to enjoy the company of you all the next time you get together! Sounds like one fantastic weekend.:D:thumbup::D

He is not very quick at responding. He told me he was going to be going through a training course for the reserves. That's what delayed my knife.

I've payed a deposit for a 8 to 12 week build and right now is the 15th week. I've heard it's a wait but the knives are bullet proof, I've owned 2 so far.

Rcb, I agree about the extra time. I hate it was a short weekend, but the time and the blades were epic

I have to say, after seeing it in some of those photos, I think the MOAB has become my Grail blade. Wow!! Something about those photos brings home just how BIG that thing is!
