This past spring I setup setup a camping trip in order to get a group of Busse enthusiasts into the woods to use our knives. The trip was a success and the 6 of us that attended had a lot of fun. Now that it's fall time and the weather is nice, it's time to setup another trip for those that are interested. Everybody here on this forum is welcome to attend, and you are welcome to bring friends so long as they are respectful of my property. Family is welcome to attend, but there is likely to be drinking around the fire in the evenings (and probably other times too) so keep that in mind if you want to bring little ones. The camping trip will be Friday November 4th and Saturday November 5th.

My land is a little over 50 acres in WV; most of it is pretty steep but there are plenty of places to pitch a tent that are accessible from a gravel driveway. I do not have running water or electricity on the land, but I do have plenty of room for us to put our INFI to good use, have a big fire, and enjoy the woods.

There is a Walmart (11 Harness Rd, Moorefield, WV 26836) nearby that would probably be the best place to meet at and get supplies if anybody needs anything. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby if people don't want to eat camp food the entire time.

I'd also love to do this, looks like approx 7hr drive for me.

Assume you're just planning to host on Saturday night? If that's the case (and my calendar is clear) I might look at taking that Friday off and camping somewhere nearby before rolling up on Sat.

Awesome brother, but I would have thought you would have purchased a gray tarp by now though. At any rate, with any luck there won't be any rain this time.

No need to find a place nearby to camp on Friday, it will be a two night trip (both Friday and Saturday nights). I'll be driving there Friday morning and will probably aim to be there before noon.
 
Regarding that first pic...Looks like knob creek maybe happening after all! ;)

have fun Hogs, I'll join up with yall one day...it's kinda a dream of mine...a goal to shoot for! :)
 
That was great timing huh zmbhntr? As they say....Great Zombie Killers think alike. Felt so bummed I couldn't make the last one......time and money set aside for it now. Let the countdown begin.

Makes me wish I still lived out there lol.

I could easily fly out there but the date will not work for me. Oh well.
 
I'll be there if the stars align and I can have the weekend and money both free to come out.

We went through a s**t ton of firewood last time. Will breavis be cutting a fresh pile?

Yeah no kidding. I told my wife this past weekend that I needed to get another INFI camping trip planned. I'm already really looking forward to it!

Please do. I would love to play around with one of your SHBM's with a swedge. Please ship some scotch to keep the knife company along the way as well!
