INFI in the Woods - An East Coast Camping trip v3 - Weekend of November 5th 2016

No, no, no ... INFI not necessary. Just hanging and drinking with Garth is good enough. I'll pitch in for the Cabo.
 
Planning to make some Beef Barbacoa this weekend for Saturday night's dinner. Trusting that someone will bring a camp stove. Or a pot to hang over a fire.

Just got my asym B9 and B11 back from the Shop with a factory fresh edge, ready for some chopping comparison action.

Plus a naked, reprofiled Boom Parang with ghetto satin by me. Really looking forward to seeing how this performs.
 
Maybe we should float a list of what knives people would like to see and handle and try?

I'm not going to bring everything that I own, but if people would really like to see a particular model, they could post it up in here and other folk might be able to accomodate that request.

Having recently scored a B9, it would be interesting to put it up against blades like the Carothers LC, the Boom Parang, the CG FBM, and ????

Or a FSH and/or HHFSH vs an NMSFNO, a MoJo/Mofo, and an ???

What do YOU want to see?
 
You guys are killing me,, wish I could be there again. Instead I'm busting my butt in Miami for the next month :grumpy:
At least I can live vicariously through ALL the pics I know you will post.

Arrrgh, I really want to meet some of you guys and try out/share some blades, but it looks like another commitment is going to take precedence for me that weekend.

Does anybody coming have a Boom Parang? That is one blade I would like to play around with a bit. I'll probably bring quite a few knifes on the trip.

I'm not sure what the closest airport would be that you could get reasonable flights into. Probably the closest large airport is IAD, which is about 90 minutes away. The town closest to my land is Moorefield WV, so you could look that up and see what are your best flight options. It would be great if you could make the trip!
