INFI (Infi) - what is it?

Weird! Coupchoux got a GW from me a while back. Who wouldn't be happy with a GW? He was fine to deal with on that transaction.

Note to self: Read THEN post. TOO Much Coffee Man!!!

Busse knives are they worth it?

" In my opinion, any object worths it if it is useful to you more than the amount of money you have spent on it.

etc...

Ok ?

And your Game Warden is just wonderfull! I have it everyday with me!

CoupChoux, sorry, the post wasn't clear to me as to who the quote was made by originally. That's good to know!! Glad to know the GW is gettin' some love!

Yes, he does. You might find this one amusing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehdQxFXKwaI . I certainly did. :D

Out5yder has recently been pretty active in the "other" knife forum, and also in Noss' forum. Everything he does seems to emphasize hard use to downright abuse (like actually chopping rocks on purpose with the ASH), and he complains about ridiculous things like an acute edge (on a Fällkniven A2) chipping on contact with rocks after a hard chop. And then he says that the best knife isn't the one which is more resistant to damage when abused. Sure, that phrase has a good point, but I don't see where he's getting at. If he thinks durability under abusive use isn't an important factor in knife performance, then I have to wonder why his tests seem to emphasize abusive tasks like chopping into rock and throwing. :D

I think this video speaks volumes. Thanks. :p

In my opinion it's interesting to think about this kind of declaration. That Which Does Not Kill Us Makes Us Stronger.

SMACK! Instant fetal position.

Lesson learned: Dont mess with the fellow sporting a sword. :o

Guyon, was that Jarvie? I hope he's ok.

Oh, I use my ASH-1 to block sword attacks all the time.

Sometimes I do it blindfolded.

You just have to know how to use the PORK. :D

Bah... Child's play. I use my shiva to block... one time while I was facing a Level 5 12th Degree Blackbelt GrandMaster Ninja I forgot my shiva and had to use the factory sheath to perry blow after devesating blow.

In the end he was smited by a nasty paper cut.

On a serious note, if this thread is still there, I tell people its the best all around steel I've ever used, with some of the best 'dont know whats comin' designs around.

There are better purpose built knives out there (if the purpose is anything other than survivability) but for warranty and toughness there are none better.

Elen, that is absolutely classic.

Now I know exactly why this guy wrote "the tip of most busse knives penetrates with too much efort and difficulty soft materials such of flash covered by warmly dressing."

Watch your flash. :p

But... he didn't tie it through the talon holes - I thought that's what they were for!!!

LMAO!!!

I am a Busse newb, so cannot really defend infi with the fervor that some can. I have only 2 bear cubs. That said, this out5ider fella is the biggest douche that I have ever seen on youtube, and that says a LOT.

Just, wow.

He has a long write up review of the Skinny ASH and a Fallkniven A2 over on knifetests.com in the Knife Test forum section. I don't agree with everything he says or does, but I appreciate that he's cranking out reviews. I even watch the knife reviews people post in Spanish and French. ;)

He's no ninja. He's clearly a Tusken Raider. And my new hero.
