(JUST KIDDING!! ;):D:D)

This is kind of a shorter version of what I was thinking.

Stretch it out, and tweak the handle a bit.

Basically these

(like the handle on this one).

Does anyone think that maybe one of the reasons we don't see an INFI machete, comes down to their no questions warranty, as even an INFI blade in typical machete proportions will take edge damage and in turn be covered under Busse warranty for return. Busse's even at normal knife lengths are generally on the fat side (sharpened pry bars) and overkill for most users, hence very little chance of blade breakage and need to utilize their no questions warranty = more profit for the company. I am not attacking this or making a judgement, just an observation i'm sharing ( and I could have it all wrong ;)) Just sharing some thoughts on MAYBE why a lightweight INFI machete hasn't materialized yet.
I would buy one in a heartbeat should an INFI MACHETE somehow manifest!
To anyone who hasn't tried out a Basic 11, do it! You will be amazed at the results! 11 inches of INFI @ 17 ounces + RES C handle! My dream user has manifested
Really cool thread by the way! Thanks

Jerry is probably the only one who can answer this. People should perhaps not chop cinder blocks with a machete. :p
