You really didnt miss anything! Just a bu......Wait a second i have a pan of Lasagna the wife made last night. Time to eat

One of my favorite breakfasts is leftover Moo Goo Gai Pan with fried rice. It's already made, so no prep time....and it has egg and pork product in the rice!

Obviously, because your feet are getting too much blood flow.

That's the problem with today's kids... always whining and crying about their blood flow. In my day we had blood flow maybe once a week, and we were grateful to have it!

Me though? Way ahead of this curve: tourniquet boxers

Cargo "Tac" pants for $7? Hook me up with a link!

The title made me laugh...and reminisce. When the similarly title movie came out, my son was pretty little. He was asking me for a couple of weeks what "nuh-glorious baskets" were. Good times.

That movie is a lot more fun when watching it the second time on DVR or DVD, so you can skip the boring parts. Like most Tarantino stuff, it has a bunch of great, snappy dialog and intense action, but it's about an hour too long.

I love leftovers! I know many folks can't be bothered to re-heat a plate of yesterday's supper, or think it's somehow not classy, but I'm all for it... :)

In other news, I have become a huge fan of Southern-style pinto beans. Angie bought a boatload this fall and cooked/canned them herself with a nice chunk of fatback in each jar... good gracious, they are freaking awesome with a little sprinkle of salt and just a touch of JT's famous homemade green pepper sauce. I am becoming too spoiled to eat "pork & beans" out of a can anymore...

Im all for leftovers too James!!

Now once it sits in the fridge for 3 or more days then its most likely going in the trash, but the next day, or 2nd day, i have no problems with it.

I had leftover lasagna for breakfast this morning, and it was delicious.

I'm listening.

Next year my fiacee and I are going to have to work up another batch of our homemade habanero sauce. We weren't able to this year and there is only 30oz or so left.

MMMM sounds delicious... Last year the wife and I grew some jalapenos in our garden.... The plant took off like a weed and produced some of the hottest son of beechin jalapenos I have ever had in my life. It was an abnormally hot summer and apparently when the plant gets stressed like that it makes a hotter pepper. but... my god I could have won an award for those guys they were that hot... got some on my hands while cooking, washed them, but they felt like they were on fire. Inadvertently touched my face and felt like I had been dooshed in pepper spray... bad dudes... I harvested the seeds and well... They decided not to grow. Guess they were too hot to have been pollinated or something...

Never ceases to amaze me how many guests read the snark thread. There are 20 guests in the other thread. It's like our relatively mindless ramblings (speaking for myself, of course) are of unspeakable importance to total strangers. Doin' good, WW. Wife and I did a practice Army PFT yesterday. Passed pushups easily, did okay on situps, and failed the run portion with the fastest time of my life. On the upside, I probably would have passed at sea level. She ran the same time as me, and hers counts as around 83 points. Evidently men run faster than women.

The run was always the hardest part for me while in the army as well. I always maxed out push-ups and sit-ups but the best i ever did on the run was around 13 and a half minutes. and my normal 2 mile run time was closer to 14 and a half minutes. But hell i havent really did much running since i got out, i do some jogging with my daughter after school when the weather is warmer but its a light jog holding her hand, but thats the extent of my running anymore.

When i took the practice PT test before i joined the army my 2 mile time was 20 minutes LMAO, the recruiter said i was the only person he ever seen stop in the middle of the run and light up a cigarette. Girls were passing me, even heavy set ones, after that i was embarrassed and started running everywhere, every day. I got a lot better running but never was able to hit 11 minutes like some of my friends.

But i think its pretty cool you guys are doing it together!! Thats awesome really!
