I received my Goncz M-3 today, and loaded up the included Duracell 123's, and lit 'er up.
My initial impression was 'Wow! This light is damn bright!'
I looked the light over, and it is very well constructed, with O-rings sealing the critical points, with very heavy anodized aluminum construction, and professional, laser etched logos. I like the 1/4 turn bezel, for either focusing to a spot, or a flood.
My only disappointment thus far is that the light output , while very bright, is yellowish in color, with a high amount of heat radiating from the glass lens. This may not be a problem as time goes by; I'll have to assess that after I get some use out of it.
After speaking with John, I found out my light has a halogen bulb, versus a zenon bulb, so that explains the yellowish output.
I will post more as I get a chance to use this light, but, as I stated; this light is very high quality, with very tight machining tolerances, and extremely bright. I think it is going to do very well on the market!
