KRAKEN, it may sound unjust and cruel to you, but it was either fire a few helpers, sending them to fend for themselves or have the counterfeits continue only to result in Bill and Pala closing down Bigorkha completely, sending the whole staff and their families to fend for themselves. Bighorka is the livelyhood of Pala, Gelbu, and the kamis, so its only understandable that they aren't willing to risk its reputation to spare a few helpers.

SMall sons and daughters are a gift, that's all I know.
Two year old Keith wakes up every morning tickled pink to be alive. His father sometimes wishes he could sleep 24/7 HIs enthusiasm is contagious. He brighens everything for everybody. All of them do if you spend the time.

Dear Mr. "kraken-up", your wrong. The response by H.I. was and is fair and proper. Firing an entire work crew for the acts of one is the norm in business. Whether its a construction crew whos foreman reads the plan backwards and nobody notices till after the foundation has been laid (happen in nearby subdivision) or a bored teenager writing lewd remarks on the machinery,and his buddies not wanting to "narc him out" when female coworkers rightfully complained. The only reason I didn't get fired was due to the fact that I was running three work crews and was somewhere else. But,I still got stood up in a line with this work crew and got the riot act thrown at me. I was their foreman. When all is said and done a work crew is a team, a tool in the hands of their supervisor. If that tool, that team does not work properly, you dump it,and get another. It is up to that work crew, that team to tell you what kind of tool they are, a highend "SnapOn" or a lowend "alltrade". As for your angst about Bura being forced to replace his heipers,........ goodbye. :(
 
Ken this time you have went too far even for me. I have defended you in the past when you went what I thought was out of character for you but no more and especially not this time.
I even asked that you be reinstated after you were banned but I see now that I was wrong to do so.
Actually the results of this diatribe makes me think that it is indeed your character and not your pain and discomfort that makes you go off like this. There is absolutely no excuse for your diatribe this time! None!
Even if Bill had of been responsible for the decision that was made it is quite frankly none of your business and has no reflection on the khukuris you have except to insure that such a thing will not happen again.
So from this moment in time forward you are no longer a person I will consider a friend.
I thought you and I had something in common with the pain we share but even at my worst I never did anything as disrespectful as you have just done and then I came and apologized for my behavior and quit what I was doing.
If it had of been my decision it would have been much more severe but then I'm not as forgiving as Bill and his family are.

Yvsa, through pain and suffering come enlightenment. After that though, often all you get is pain and suffering.

At first, I thought it was a clever avatar....well animated. I made the original spinning spyderco avatar that is now standard pickins on bfc....and when this one debuted, I liked it.

But I no longer have such feelings toward it...:(


No offense to Anon Y Mouse and others who use it....but there sure have been a lot of rascals lately that had it - enough to give it a bad rep.

Munk, the only thing I think I know about "trolls" is that they have a pattern of strongly attacking a person or product. They may post "normally" for a time, but the hostility eventually comes out -- again. BF was a classic. Tick; tick; tick; BOOM!!!!

Northern OH is too cold for me. I promised myself that when I move, it will be south, even if it is in the same city. :D

NW Ohio is almost indistinuishable from Dakota. Nothing between you and the north Pole except plains. Burrrrr!!! Move to sunny Dayton. Nasty can show you around.
