Inkosi Ceramic Ball Groove Removed

I have measured mine as well My sebenzas were around .020 and large inkosi was around .025 not all that much different. But what I meant was the edge thickness on sebenza stays thin for like a 1/4 inch above edge bevel ( dont know exactly how far but it is substantial) inkosi does not. Which means that as you sharpen inkosi the thickness behind edge will widen at least thats how both my inkosi are. Maybe you guys got different grinds then I did.
Now that I think about it I came to this conclustion by looking down on choil area and not by taking multiple measurements with calipers so perhaps my method was flawed and it just looks like inkosi gets thicker faster?
Either way, as ive stated before, large inkosi is my new favorite crk knife. Sebenza is hard to beat but I just love the handle and ceramic lockup on the inkosi.

I just received my first Chris Reeve knife a small Inkosi, I noticed the missing ball groove and a cold chill ran up my spine. I was just about to call about getting a replacement with groove when I came across this thread. Crisis averted, I feel much better now knowing this is the norm.
