Inkosi

Ok I just took it out, cleaned the screw and reapplied. Left it a little tight, tighter than I'd probably want it to be. I don't know what the minimum setting time is but I'm gonna leave it alone for 2-3 hours and see what happens.

I always wait 24 hours to make sure it sets.

LOL!! Yup, I know!!

When I grabbed my first Seb, a small 21 a couple months ago, I couldn't decide whether I wanted that or an Inkosi. Well, Inkosis weren't in stock and everyone said start with the standard! Now there are Inkosis to be had, and I have something to compare to. It is time. :)

Same here buddy. I could only hold off for so long. I have to try one.

It was supposed to come today and it didn't. Grrrrrrr. :banghead:

Now I have to sign that silly pink PO slip and hope they leave it for me tomorrow, since I can't sit around the house all day, and I definitely don't want to wait until Monday to get it. Ahhhh!!

Oh my I feel for you! I hate that. Mine is scheduled to arrive Saturday

No... I don't know what the deal is. No pink thingy either. The estimated delivery date still shows Thursday! Something is screwy with USPS tracking right now I think.

Just arrived today. Here are a few shots next to my large insingo and in my hand. Keep in mind I have XXL hands. I know some have reported that the finger grooves dig into their fingers with larger hands. The spacing is not ideal for my large mitts but I have some meat on my hands so I have yet to find the grooves a real discomfort. On the other hand.....I have yet to do any real cutting yet.

Here are a few pics

Next to a mini Ritter grip with G10 Wilkins scales

I am trying to get this knife next to as many familiar knives that I can. When I was inquiring about the Inkosi, I had a hard time finding comparisons to other knives that I might have owned or currently own.

Thanks for the great pictures Giz... I have been trying to figure out how my fairly big hands would fit on the knife too...
The Mini Grip was a perfect comparison because it is my favorite, and I have been carrying one for years. I am surprised to see
it is a little shorter than the Mini with Wilkins.

I got the delivery text but I won't be home until about 5pm to check! Arrghgh!

Mark you got some paws!! Lol. It oughta fit me well, I have M/L hands.

Haha. Yes I do! It surprisingly fits pretty comfortable in my hands. I prefer a large seb, but sometimes like to carry a smaller knife.

Hopefully you will have it in your hands later today!!

No problem bud. I too love the Mini Ritter with Wilkins. Fits perfect in my hands. This Inkosi fits similar to it but has the finger grooves. So far with some cardboard I cut up, there were no hot spots or anything uncomfortable about it.

It's definitely small.... When I opened the box, I was very surprised at the size. Keep in mind, I have been EDCing my large insingo until a few hours ago.

Did some more cutting tonight wih quite a bit of cardboard. This things a pretty good slicer. It doesn't come close to the slicing ability of my insingo but still very good.

Still haven't noticed any real discomfort with the small knife in my XXL hands. I need to get out and do some cutting in the woods. Makes some walking sticks and pokers for my boys. That will be better test of its feel in my hand.

I must say that I am still a little Leary of the non pivot bushing setup. I don't like the fact that I have to use loctite. Who knows. We will see.

Mine came in! I really didn't have much time to do anything with it other than open it up, take the lanyard off, and open it a handful of times. It is suuper smooth! The lockbar is also lighter and easier to press than a 21. I could see this be quite popular with female blade-aholics as it is friendly to a gentler hand. I will try to find some use for it tomorrow to get a better feel for it. If the weather is decent maybe we can go for a hike or something. It is small, but that was my intention. This is not a replacement for my large Insingo which is now my go to for working tasks when I'm in jeans etc. It's for times when I want a working knife but need something smaller. I don't have really large hands so for me it's about a 3 1/2 fingers on the handle. It might be small for long cutting tasks but my uses are more sporadic so I doubt it will be a problem. So far I like the knife, but I gotta cut some things to really test it.

Glad you got it! I'm still on the fence. But like you said....need some more time with it to really see how I feel
