Insanity at the Shop

The more cokes I drink and candy bars I eat, the less excited I am getting about all this running lol!

This looks awesome! I love the fact that they are using "28 Days Later" type zombies where they are fast and smart instead of mindless and lumbersome.

They do have some of the slow ones, too. "Creepers" are what they're called. All the fast zombie spots are taken for the GA race, so I'd have to be a creeper. Unfortunately, I might not be able to make it to GA for the race either way :(. There is a local zombie race here, but it doesn't seem to be as theatrical, and you have to register as a 4 person team. We still need two more people for our team.

I went for a run last night with my dog and I swear she is NOT into this getting fit thing at all. As we were running along the road, she decided that it would be a fun idea to cut underneath my feet mid stride. I wasn't too upset with her, but she's not getting out of running that easily. I've found that if I have her with me and the iPod on, I tend to go faster and farther. :D

My list of runs to attend just keeps growing! I'm so excited and I'm glad to see that our insanity is met with welcome arms.

It's ok. . . . I will make sure you don't eat anything bad while you are around me. I will just sit in front of the fridge with a MOAB. LOL YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!

To help fund the run, it's travel, gear, training costs and all related expenses I humbly request a Busse runner's companion to be created and offered Ganza-style. With a large portion of its proceeds used to fund these wild runs.

I'm wondering how training is going for everyone on our little team, and I'm sure that a few of you are wondering the same thing. How is everyone doing?

Training is going pretty good. Been doing a lot of kayaking and working on cleaning up the diet. I have lost a few pounds and feeling a lot better, which will translate into being able to work out longer.

Our first Color Me RAD run is only two weeks away! Where has the time gone? I'm so excited for this run!

Just an FYI on the color runs.. the powder that they huck everywhere will DESTROY camera equipment

I had read a lot about this as well. Disposable cameras is the way to go for color runs. I know that taking my phone with me will be tempting, but I'd rather not have to worry about ruining my nice phone for a few picture that "couldn't wait". So it might be a day or two before I get around to posting pictures from the run. Thank you for the heads up on this, though. Not too many people think about this when they go to runs like this.

Lora, I'll be with you lovely ladies in spirit...........and our air-conditioned house!:D............................:p

After that, you should do a zombie run... all of you should carry matching pink/black G10 TGLBs.... Or maybe AKs strapped to your back... you'd be the most bad ass zombie runners ever!
