Integraframe Prototype

The main concern I have right out of the gate is stability. So, a synthetic will probably be my first, then move into some stabilized wood. I will need some thickness to it, so that also rules out many natural materials. Ivory will work, but seems a little stagnant in regards to sales ( elephant ivory).

Did you have a suggestion?

nothing in particular, just wondering if you were going to use reconstituted stones. I really like a lot of different types of wood as well, can't wait to see how things come out :D

No offense to anyone here intended but Timascus seems a bit...um...gaudy, compared to the kind of work Bailey does.

Ya know...Titanium is cool and all, but it really isn't my favorite material. It's sticky, and I don't care for the color. It can be anodized I know, but I mean the "in the white" color.

Not to mention, it's a bitch to engrave with the same finese as 416ss, and is only 40% lighter. It's a very strong and light material, just not suited for the kind of work I want to do on these.

Titanium looks good on certain knives. This knife. . . . .no way !

Sweet knife, Bailey !
