Interested in donating a knife to deserving Soldiers?

Verified. :)

I'm in! Let's see if we can't "roll these guys eyes" with our generosity and support!

I don't have any knives for you, CSM Carlson, but if you want, I'll be the first to put in a little money towards buying one.

Madcap,
While I appreciate your offer, unfortunately I can not help with money. Since I am still in Army green (well now it is Universal Camoflague Pattern), I can not move any money...I can only accept donations and ensure they get to the intended Soldiers. Maybe some of the members can figure out something. Thanks though, your generosity is appreciated!!!!

Unfortunately, any knife I could donate would be an insult. I would like to thank you very much for your service to our country. This is an unpopular war but none of those sentiments transfer to you guys and gals in uniform. I hope some of the more well off and generous folks here come through for you. Stay strong and above all, stay safe. Hopefully, all of you will get home soon and in one piece.

Fish, Big Fixed usually goes over well with the younger Soldiers, but tactical folders are gaining popularity. If you donate a knife, reagardless of type it will be well appreciated...trust me.

Lacceration,
Don't you worry about being able to give or not give. Your thoughts and support is good enough!!!!! The Soldiers over here are going after the enemy everyday and they never get wrapped up into the "good war-bad war" issues. At the same time they are rebuilding schools, hospitals, training a new Army and allowing a country that hasn't experienced freedom for over 35 years a chnace to vote on their leadership and future.....That is what matters!!!

I bet they could get some use out of a Bushman -- $22.99 at www.1sks.com
The Mini Bushman is only $20.99 and some might prefer that; it's not as good for chopping but handier for cutting.

I am planning on helping out by ordering some things from a distributor and sending them to the Sergeant Major.

If anyone else want to play, email me.;)

CSM Carlcon.

I have a slightly worn (but still servicable) A.G. Russell Strike Force that served me well in Iraq. I believe that luck passes on (and it has served me well). I will donate this knife to you for awarding an outstanding troop.
Please email me on the details.

Respectfully,

Dan (a recently retired 1SG)

Dan,
Edited on request.
Address no longer valid.

My email is listed above. Please send me a message when you ship and I can track and reply when it arrives so you know it made it ok. Thanks again!!!

Even if all that you can work out is a buck or two and you want to be a part of this drop me a line. A couple of us already have the ball rolling and I have been on the phone with Matthews this morning. It would be great if we could place a decent sized order to support these men and women.

I will be in touch with each person.
Thanks folks!

Ryan,

Edited to remove address.

Email him and let him know they are on the way. He will be in touch from there letting you know where and with whom it ends up.

Thanks!

Gus
