  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Interesting new pack for traditional guys.

Lastly, I am retiring from my first career in January and I am assembling gear while still at full salary. If you think $370 is a lot of coin (actually $395 + shipping for the waxed canvas model), imagine if it was made by Filson!!
The pack's designer Mike Lummino is a great, cool guy. I've only spoken to him on the phone and through email, but he is friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. His videos are on his site and Youtube. Also, the knife he designed (BCNW-01) is awesome and worth looking into if you're looking for a very functional, reasonably priced bushcraft blade.

Ha, I didn't catch that Mike designed that. He's a really super guy to deal with. His BCNWO1 knife is top notch, I've used it probably daily since I got it.

Yeah, real good dude. Surprised the pack isn't on the Bushcraft Northwest website yet.

For a 4200 cu inch pack the hip pads don't look too comfortable; also what is the weight on that thing? Weight is always important when you are backpacking.

Price - probably can get two good packs for the price.

Like I said, I've got several packs, hoping this could be the one. Probably going to be selling off the others soon.

Kahuana, hope you have a postage scale so you can tell us what the pack actually weighs in at. I'll guess about 5lbs.

Yeah, I'll let everyone know the specs, and try to post some comparison pics.
