Interesting old Busse article

I was looking through some of my old files and found these pics of an old article that Jerry wrote for a magazine called "Combat Knives" Winter 1989

Here are a couple of pics from the article (sorry they are small but it is the best I could do)

Note the in the first pic at the top of the left page, that is an original Purebred fighter, and at the bottom of that page is a knife that Jerry told me he just called at "camp knife"

In the second pic there is an original Argonne Assault

Still going through some of my old pics and I thought some of you might not have seen this one before. It is called the "Knight Light"

I don't own it but I wish I knew where I could find one

Thats cool I have been trying to to some research on Busse knives on the net and was wondering if Jerry has any more articles and information in magazine publications like Soldier Of Fortune..Blade ..or any other publications. If other forum members may be able to shed some light here that would be great.

Here's an old pic of the Shark and I believe that is an original sheath, maybe Skunk or someone can help me on that

I think I now have about every ad and article he has written. Not many articles but there are a few (good luck finding the ads and articles)

An original AA is my holy grail of Busse knives!!!!!!!! I have got to find a copy of that magazine. I lement throwing mine away back in my high school years.

Now that I think about it, I might have that issue of Combat Knives in a box somewhere.. Hmmmmmmmmm. Where did I put that box?:confused:

I have one that has to be 5/16 thick too. The black crinckle coated one thta has a paracord wrapped handle is a bit thinner.

High School in '89??!!??:o I'm gonna go find my rockin' chair now.....;)
 
Eric, can you scan it in so we can actually read the article, that would be cool.:thumbup:
