Just received an email from the receiver that the package has arrived at his post office.
Also, FYI for those who don't know about declaring what you are sending. If you check the box "MERCHANDISE" instead of "GIFT", the receiver will be charged taxes on the item. In this case it came out to $29.
Even if you declare it as a gift, if the declared or insured value is over $60 it will be taxed.
