Hey guys. What are y'all's thoughts on iOS 7 so far. I hate it! It feels like the iPhone is for children now. I have had iPhones since the original and always loved how simple and professional they were. Well not anymore! So what do you all think of it?

I have a Samsung S3 and my wife has a Iphone. OS7 feels a lot more androidish now! It's probably why you hate it. I thought it was an improvement, lol.

It is very similar to the android system. And you are probably right about that being the reason I dislike it. I think apple hasn't been the same company since Mr. jobs passed and are slowly going downhill

I just downloaded it. It is different for sure. It don't look or feel like an apple product.

Nope, a little bit of research revealed that once you've made the jump, there's no turning back. I think I'm going to wait until I've played with someone else's iOS7 phone.

I've got a 4 and was wondering how much of a resource hog it'll be if I upgrade the iOS to 7. My 4 has gotten pretty sluggish lately. Time for an upgrade me thinks.

We'll the iPhone 5s comes out Friday. As well as the 5c the original 5 has been discontinued. Time for an upgrade indeed ;)

I have mixed feelings.

Certain things I really like, and certain things I think they could have done better. I'm running it on my 4s, and it seems to be doing "ok". My biggest complaint is that accessing the control center is very difficult with a case over my phone. The swipe down for notifications works great, but I really have to try in order to swipe up.

I'm not a big fan of the way it LOOKS. But the way it functions, and some of the new features are FANTASTIC.

My daughter likes it. My wife doesn't. I have a Nokia 1020 so I don't care.
Coincidencez. Not really. I just upgraded my phone this morning. Don't like the cartoonish interface at all. I don't think it's Android like at all though, it looks like something designed by Vtech for kids.

I have been running it for the better part of 2 months on my 5. I like it. Simple and usable as always. Plus you get the added feature of the control center, which was always my biggest gripe with iOS. I think it changed for the better, plus the battery lasts longer :)

some of the new features i really like, some of the functionality has been simplified, the new "look" i hate (but i like darker themes), and NONE of my programs (ie ebay, youtube, amazon, etc) will allow me to send links via txt msg / imessage.

Also...even with disabling most of the new 'features' / 'frills' my battery life has been cut in half on my VZW iPhone 5!

That's strange so far my battery life has been great it actually improved.. And I completely agree with RevDevil it does look like something vtech would put out. If they would have added all of the new features without the new look it would be perfect!

Hmm, there was no downloads available on my 5 until last week.

Ok, question... We used to double click the home button and it would show us the apps that were open and from there we could press hold the app in desire and it would bring up a small X to close that particular app.. now double click home button brings up thumbs of the app screens, the icon, but no way to close them??? What am I missing here? thanks in advance.

edit: this is all being done on an Ipad, I haven't updated my phone yet.. as I might not want too :D Iphone 4s that is.. will it run it ok? Ipad 3 seems to lag a big opening certain apps now...
