On 7-30-2011 I bought this knife from Landi knives -

I Paypal-ed immediately, and he acknowledged that he got the payment. I requested a kydex sheath that day, and then heard nothing. On August 2nd, and August 6th, I sent him an email requesting a status update, or acknowledgement - nothing until August 9th, when he said he just missed my emails, and acknowledged - "Kydex it is". Now it is August 20th and no word or knife.

Anyone know how I can contact him, and get my knife and sheath, or should I file a Paypal dispute? Or is this to be expected?

3 weeks is not too long to make a sheath. I've waited months for one, depending on the sheath-maker. I would imagine there were knives in front of yours that also needed sheaths, and obviously he is going to make those first. If you want your knife, get him to send it to you separately and mail you the sheath when it's ready.

Looks like the knife is on the way! I just got an email, USPS click and ship notice. This thread is closed! Thanks,
Dave
