Is $950 a ridiculous price for this Busse?

Nothing is ridiculous if you want it bad enough:)
I think they were around $560ish when they were offered from Busse, so $400 over that is pretty "heavy" inflation. If it was $600 it would be a deal. There were some being sold for that sort of price a while back. I guess it depends if you can wait?? As another will turn up for less, someday....:(

Thanks for the input. I thought that the price was steep. Maybe somebody will pay that much, but it ain't gonna be me. Gotta save for that folder and my LESJ HOG.

That is pretty ridiculous. Maybe he really doesn't want to sell it, but his wife told him he has to:D

Clever way to keep it.

Maybe he saw what someone paid for that SFNO a while ago. If so, this price is right in line with that other sale - although I still think it's way too much.

I had noticed it earlier today:cool:

sounds a little steep to me:eek:

seen many variants on there for much less before..hhuumm

anyway,,,thats just my opinion.

It's an LE so the price will be high and will continue to go up.

I would say that I would pay up to about 800 for one.

He had it up there a few weeks ago started at $600. He pulled it early.

$900 - that's some real inflation.

600 would have been a steal. I would have bought it and I don't even need another one.

It probably would have gone up with bidding but I don't believe it would have reached $950.

All it takes is one INFI hungry HOG.

He-he.:D While, I'm sure, it didn't cost them $900 to make, Busse DOES put a lot more work into their knives than their similarly-priced compeditors. And they have... (ahem) ...handles.

I've always been impressed when I've handled them. I can't afford MY OWN, but I'm enjoyed handling other people's.;)

I bet the guy is just trying to find out what the market will bear and will come down later.
