Is $950 a ridiculous price for this Busse?

Ya, especially for a knife that probably only cost the Co. about a $150.00 to make?
FYI, Busse combat decided a long time ago to NOT inflate prices by selling to distributors. I don't know what the current process is, but the heat treat on the Basics were advertised as lasting 80 hours. 80! hours. and followed by a subzero quench, and a bunch of other stuff too.

What something costs to make has nothing to do with its value to those that collect that something. I know things that cost less than a penny to make that sell for thousands of dollars. What it all comes down to is that something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

That being said, $950.00 is more than I would pay for that knife. There are Busses that I would pay that much and more for though.

OK Keith... give up the secret... :D

All the best,

Well, how much do you think those bubble gum cards of Babe Ruth and others cost to make? How about those hundred year old stamps that can be worth tens of thousands of dollars? There are many other examples.
