Is Emerson "satin" still chrome coat or is it bare?

I prefer knives with a real satin finish.
Since that isn't an option with Emerson, I go for the BT coating.
One of these days I'll have the money for a custom Emerson, and THEN I'll have the satin finsh I want(and titanium scales on both sides:thumbup:).

really the only custom with ti scales is the CQC12 and i suppose a custom HD7 (i have never seen one of those), most have ti bolsters though but not all..

Check you out Lycosa, pulling us all down, get us in trouble with the mods :grumpy:

:D

Wow. Boy did I ever open a can of worms!

Hey, guys, I was thinking of getting a custom Emerson and spray paint the blade with this stone textured "coating". It's Rustoleum so it should help with corrosion resistance. Maybe I can turn around and sell the knife for MORE when I'm done with it. What do you think?;););)
