Is it a Custom??

How about "a little something that Tony Bose put together".

That is Special, regardless. If that was mine, my smile would be so big my face would break. :)

Congrats!

Rhett gave me several blades , old factory blades, so I took one of them and built a knife around it. That's an original Napanoch saddlehorn blade. The original name for that knife was an Arkansas hunter. I jigged and dyed the bone to fit this knife. I stamped my name inside the liners so nobody would think I was trying to counterfeit the knife I did this to give Rhett something back for being kind to me. Hope this helps.

I would call it a custom Charlie. Tony built the whole knife around a single blade and man are you lucky to have it.

Thanks Tony.

Thanks for the explanation Tony. It's such a great knife and I am glad that it's in the deserving hands that it is now.

Very nice of Tony to give us the details of this interesting knife with a great story and history. I am glad it ended up in the hands of another knife collector/lover/historian/etc. who undoubtedly appreciates it.

I can't think of anyone I'd rather have that knife than Charlie. It is a dandy. I had a hard time sending it to Rhett when I made it. I was always going to me one for me but never did. Rhett had a 5 gallon bucket full of those saddlehorn blades, wonder what happened to them?
