We have to appreciate their business model, as well. They started as their current CIVIVI line is now, offering very good value for money at low prices, and look where they stand now. I was just browsing their new designs and saw a model (Merata damasteel) going for 740 euros! That speaks volumes of the effort and the smart business model they have.
They have even managed to get a lot of people that disliked the idea of getting a chinese made knife to give them a go, mainly through some really cool designs as you mentioned (and of course the building quality to support those designs).

Any interest today in selling?The Eschaton (719B) is my favorite design. The execution is awesome, too. This is one of 700. Four-inch blade. Drop shut. Fires well. Centered blade. No blade play. Pretty hard to find.
