Is O2W losing steam?

I've detected a disturbing trend in the... trough. For the last two weeks (last week and this), we've (or maybe I should say the board, because I am being presumptuous to include myself in the collective "we") made it to well into Monday evening without a guess-what's-next thread. And I don't recall a time in the last 7 or so months that an offering has made it through the weekend, much mess Monday, before all last calls were issued. :eek: Are we approaching the end of O2W simply due to apathy?! There are so many other knives to be re-created, and so many possibilities for new! What is happening? Am I being overly concerned?

As an aside... What is this week bringing?
 
I don't think it's apathy, but a combination of customers reaching the end of (or over-extending) their budgets, plus deciding to be more selective in their choices.
 
Don't think it's loosing steam I just think we have lost our $$. If I had more I would have got the war sword , the long TG and a few more. I hope he stretches it out to operation actual 2-4 weeks
 
I've set money aside for some things I'm really hoping for. Plus people want hints now instead of just guessing/wishing.

I don't think it's lost steam. Maybe just people getting bored writing what they want over and over again every week.
 
Customers are just low on cash and have (or are soon to have) a lot of blades. I love checking out a new knife each week i hope this never ends!
 
I know I am waiting on the grab bags - I spent lots of my knife funds and am hoping I get some of these latest offerings, so I am hesitant to buy. Also, I have no more money, so the decision is made for me.
I should have funds around Christmas, ha ha ha.
 
I hope they keep it going so many knives ID like to see rereleased but then again I am just poor woods boy and can't afford to buy them all
 
Those knives last week were awesome. I expect to see a BG Gladius before they stop . I think they shut down the custom shop for these new knives, so no I don't suppose it will end until the custom shop opens back up . Lets' Drink !!
Don't think your done because you have no more money I'm sure you'll see lots of reasons to take out a new line of credit or sell a kidney or go stand on a street corner :eek: or worse Stop Drinking..

Exactly what I was going to say. I know I wanted a huck so bad, but the timing for me couldnt have been worse!
 
I think $$$ is the #1 reason O2W would falter, the 2nd reason would be people being more selective with the $$$ they have left.

Before the Fatback I had skipped every offering of O2W since the WTH. For an offering to excite me now it has to either be a grail or something so unique I cannot pass it up.

As for guesses I am hoping still for the Folder or MBC, not much else I can honestly say I want or need.
 
My interest is still there, but frankly, I have run out of steam. I don't seem to have the fire in the belly any longer, for variations, upgrades, modifications or the like.
