I have been carrying an S90V Military for months, and I have touched it up twice on the Spyderco Sharpmaker. Once after cutting through a bulk sandblasting hose (and hit the 2b size stone underneath) and once after loaning it out for an "annonymous" cutting task at dinner out with friends. No trouble at all to report.
Now if I could only get my hands on a 125V Military that Sal mentioned...
Adding pigment is challenging. The stones are fired at 3200 degrees F. for 3+ days. Carbon is the only pigment we can add that doesn't burn off in firing.
