Now this is what I'm talking about - Give me more!!!

Yea man, that's the video that woke up a lot of haters........haters are like motor oil....it's not the pretty part of the engine, it's gets broken down, destroyed and eventually thrown away. But it's a necessary part that keeps the machine running. :D

And a bigger result of this video is the support for Mike Snody from the biggest players in the knife world. And the demand for Mike's work from collectors has reached an all time high as well as the value of Mike's knives overall. As a collector you know that Mike will always be around, doing what he can to build his brand and name recognition. Mike's working 24/7 to bring in new customers to the knifeworld. 2010 is only going to see all these things increase.

Thanks UltraReef,

I couldn't figure out how to embed a video - I'm glad you do.

Some guys buy for their beauty and others like his shop and the knifemaking part.

I buy knives for last line of self defense and I can clearly see that Mike knows how to "get down" with his self defense oriented instruments and can offer us a lot in that area too.

Happy to hear there's more coming! :D

Mike Snody IMO is a very tallented Blade maker and his marketing schemes are pure genious.. Keep up the good work SNODY dont pay any attention to all those haters out there there is always somebody that has to complain about something, and theres nothing wrong with keepin it gangsta every once a while... :D

A few people voice an opinion that's not lined up with the fanboys and now it's "all those haters out there". The old "If you're not with us you're against us" ploy. Must be a Texas thing.

obviously you've never handled a custom snody. And just because someone prefers to support one maker more than the other doesn't make them a "fanboy". Just some stupid term a jealous hater came up with.

I have, actually. It wasn't horrible but I saw and felt no magic that would make it worth the asking price. Like I said in an earlier post, different strokes for different folks. Since this thread is in the general forum no one should get their panties in a wad over someone expressing an opinion. It's not like the "haters" have stormed into the Snody forum spreading malicious rumors or some such. As for the "fanboy" term, it is commonly used now to describe supporters of a maker who jump to their defense and start calling "hater!" when anything negative is mentioned.

BTW my comment in an earlier post regarding the hat was completely tongue in cheek, intended to poke fun at the rappers/gangstas who wear the over-sized baseball hats all caddywumpus on their heads with one ear tucked in. To anyone who was offended by that I most humbly apologize.

"Fanboy" implys that a person is irrationally biased. It's name-calling. That's why people are getting "their panties in a wad" Hater.

My opinion, for what it's worth. Snody makes nice knives, and if he wants to act a certain way or listen to certain music, who cares? The quality of his knives speaks for itself. I'm not into the whole hip hop thing myself and find it rather silly, but then I'm listening to Pat Benetar at the moment, so there's really no accounting for personal taste. ;)

As for the vids, I don't watch them unless they pop up here. I did watch the Bladeforums Interview series since Ultrareef posted the link. I do have to say that the part where Snody pulls his pistol while responding to a negative comment with someone in the background commenting "Stick a ....... AK in his eye." was tipping the scales of internet tough guyness to me.

Thanks for the positive comments, support and watching our videos. :D

The knives look perfectly nice but the gangsta persona would probably be enough to deter me from buying. I have no idea if it's sincere or if its shtick and I don't really care. I just know I find it irritating and it makes me think less of him. If this is really "brilliant marketing," I think people's expectations must have sunk to an all-time low.

Haters = $$MONEY$$

Thanks for all of the kind words and support for Snody Knives. :D

This "marketing" strategy should produce a steady flow of new customers for Snody. One born every minute according to PT Barnum.
