I like Mr. Snodys work very much but the gangsta thing shut me down.

It is only my opinion and it seems to be working for him and I wish him continued success

You know I liked Mike's knives for years before seeing the vids on youtube. When I saw a Japanese style maker doing all that, I too was saying "WTF" :confused:

I watched more and more and even PM'ed him a few times. Mike is more than a few videos he posted. Plus listen in the vids to where he grew up and the kind of jobs he's had...make more sense. This guy is making nice knives and selling them at good prices, so I can't fault him for that. So what if he acts a fool on youtube. The man got your attention. I got over it.

Mike Snody :thumbup: in my book.
 
I like his knives. They look wicked!

Is Snody a bad-ass or what! :cool:

Does he make any knives that are affordable for blue collar guys like the Benchmade Blue Class?

No rap for me, I'd rather see Mike and Earl grow beards and do a ZZ Top-like video, complete with Hot Rod and chicks.:D
 
You guys rock! Thanks for the outpouring of positivity towards Mike and Snody Knives. Mike was so touched by all of the responses that he had to make a third video responding to this thread. Thanks for watching our videos and buying Snody Knives, we wouldn't be having all this fun with you guys. Wait till you all see what's in store for 2010! :D

I love the knives.

The marketing is different and it works for him. I don't see how it might hurt the image of the knife community, so I have no problem with it.

I realize that everyone is different and has the right to their own unique personality. I try not to judge just because someone is different from myself.

Snody's an incredibly talented maker that has positively contributed to the knife industry in general and as long as he's been in business, he's been in good standing with his customers.

Seems a like a man of integrity to me. That's way more important to me than his clothes or his music or his personal lifestyle. If you're a person of integrity, I certainly wouldn't hold anything against you solely on the basis that you're different from me.

i could care less if the guy dressed like a clown and rode a pink elephant,

if every piece he makes is as high quality as my crisis card, he gonna be making money and awesome knives for a long time to come!
