it was real funny stuff. I can't take credit for it though as it was posted in the strider thread first. I just copied it over here since no one deleted it from that thread and those guys were using it to insult each other, I was just using it for fun. No insults here, but mike dropped the hammer and you missed out. Hell mike dropped the hammer on that picture I pilfered off of your site with the girl in the red bikini top in New Orleans. WOW :D

Cobalt, not everyone has an edgy sense of humor and what you posted was a little edgy. Some would take it as an insult just seeing it. There are alot of people on here who appreciate what Mike does. There are alot of other sites out there that could care less what you post so I wouldn't get to bothered, just post it at those sites.

And I am in no way trying to be a smart-alik. From your post it just looked like you couldn't understand why Mike edits certain things.
 
Silas, I know why Mike edits these things and he's absolutely right to do so. Keeps Jerry from staying off the liquor to keep us in check. So Jerry can drink and be merry, that is why Mike does it. :eek:

Seriously, I appreciate Mike and his diligence.

I didn't answer this part of your comment. Then those people need to grow thicker skin. These are the same people causing problems all over this country. I don't think anyone on this board was offended, and if they were they are definitelly not hogs.

Silas, what you failed to realize is that all those things I posted were posted in a forum here on BF and were not deleted. I thought that meant that there would be no reason to delete them here. Those same things were used in anger in the other forum, I used them for fun as I have no anger against anyone here. It was for amusement. But, if Mike tought it better not to let them stay on, then that is his call.

This picture is Danbo's sig and a nice sig at that, may I say. Yet, if I posted this pic here it would get deleted guaranteed. How do I know it would be? Because a harmless pic that Skunk had on his site of a girl shopping wearing her red bikini top and short skirt was deleted as well. Danbo's pic is much more revealing IMO. So does this mean danbo is banned from this forum? How far is too far.

Remember, this stuff was posted on BF in an open forum no different than this one.

Again, Jerry lets Mike make those decisions, and it is his call. I personally think he goes to far sometimes. But I respect his decisions and I won't post the same item twice. However, I have no clue what he will or will not delete so I will post stuff from time to time as will Skunkster, that Mike will delete. Oh well, that's life.

If Jerry made Me and Skunk moderators, this forum would probably go to hell in a handbasket, so Mike is the little angel on the shoulder. :D

I will address items which have or may insult or attack.

This forum reflects upon a business, Jerry's business, and I will do what I have to to protect his best interests. This is what he's asked me to do.

My personal opinions towards many postings do not matter, my actions are based on maintaining a forum where past, current, and potential hogs, no matter what their level of interest, can come, read, learn, have fun, and join in should they wish, without offense.

That simple.

Nothing personal guys (well, except maybe Skunk...not...LOL).

good idea, and he could be all refreshed with a great nights sleep. there's no reason he should have to babysit all the time, we could share the laod :thumbup:
