is the benchmade vex as strong as a lil temp by spyderco

IM just saying thats what was said at the benchmade sight. honest. And there not knocking it Iether. Its just stating that the knife is great for the price. But its not a shame for it to be lost , damaged, stolen, etc. I jsut purchased a spyderco meadow lark for the same reason. Not saying its crap , but for 20$ plus shipping cmon. Even better deal than the vex which i passed on to buy this. And im sure this meadow will be even stronger than my delicas and natives by the looks of it, hopefully. anyway

...and if it isn't, no big deal it only cost $20, which is the definition of "throw away knife" to most people. :)

Sal Glesser told me in a thread that they keep the Byrds in the higher medium duty to lower heavy duty lock rating (Spyderco rating scale), which I would think would be very similar to the delica. I know my G-10 Cara Cara feels very strong in the hand, and has no blade play. It is a very solid knife.
