Is the Case Jumbo Stockman and Large Stockman the same?

Case Large Stockman
Pattern 6375 CV
Clip, Spey and Sheepfoot Blades
4 1/4 in. closed
4.1 oz.

I just copied this from an online dealer, Case's website says the same, so I think at some point Case turned the Jumbo into the Large Stockman, I am just trying to clear up the confusion on this.

Good luck with that. As far as I can tell, the confusion is:

A) Intentional

B) Instigated by Case

And

C) An integral part of their marketing.

Is the 6375 a 3 spring knife?

I think I would have to try one some time down the road if so.

Thanks.

ETA, I found in another thread that it is 2 spring. That is great to hear in a way. How much crinking is going on with these knives? Can you lay the edge of a sheepsfoot flat on a stone to sharpen? I really like the amber bone cv but I don't want frustration when sharpening.

The sheepfoot blade on the '75 pattern is very gently crinked, essentially dead straight (I'm looking at one of mine now; I'll check some of my others to verify). Interesting thing on the one I'm looking at; the 'crink' seems to be far back into the ricasso/tang (where it intersects the bolsters), as opposed to near/forward of the plunge line. The cutting edge appears as straight as one could hope for, on a 'crinked' blade (not accounting for blade warp sometimes, which is a separate issue unrelated to crinking).

Good luck with that. As far as I can tell, the confusion is:

Thanks for that outstanding pic showing the 6375, I really want one because I like the bigger knives, as stated in another reply I want to get the 3375 as well.

Old thread, I know, but maybe this will help figure this mess out. I just sent my 4.25" 3375CV stockman back to case for a repair and it was returned unrepaired with a letter stating that it was a discontinued model and couldn't be fixed because the tooling had changed. Go figure!
