Is the crkt m16-13sf worth buying?

It's too bad so many people have had issues with CRKT. I paid $35 apiece for a couple M16-03z's about five years ago to use as work-horse blades to use when I don't want to beat on my more expensive folders.

I've beat the heck out of them and they've worked and held up great! Absolutely zero blade play, smooth opening, cuts like a champ.

-Sure I have to sharpen it a bit more frequently than some other blades, but it re-sharpens so easily it only takes a few seconds....

Maybe I just got lucky on the quality of my CRKT's ...? ....cause I have no complaints.
 
No, it's not just you. CRKT offers a good value and innovative features for the prices asked. That's just a fact. I think a lot of people enjoy crapping on them because it makes them appear discriminating.

This is what I like about CRKT. They will try things that others won't. Sometimes it's a flop and others not, but it's usually interesting either way.

I wish they would do some US production and use some better steels (or at least do a better heat treat on what they use) though.
