Is the Machete getting more popular?

If you like them in the basket you'll love them in leather pants.

One of the perks of living in Brazil is visiting dusty farm co-ops searching for leather sheaths.

Mac

Oh, double drool. Must you torment us like this?

Is there any way you could send me a few...maybe about 50-100? I'm serious :)

Joe,

Central America called, they want their machetes back.

What is that one in the middle, third from the right?

Gentlemen, you have seen the face of addiction and it is Joe.

Do any of you guys know of a good place to get a solid leather sheath with a file pocket for a 12" bolo?

Mac- I'm jealous of all those great sheaths you've been able to find!

I still want one of those huge fat wonky grass-cutters! (lower right--looks like a mutant Nessmuk) And those little ones above it! And the small red ones! And the ones that look like Vikings! And...and...I really just need to go on a trip to SA. :o

I ordered one of those freaky Costeños last night. And a 22" Tram, and the 28", monster Guarizama Imacasa, and a 14" Pata de Cuche Imacasa too. I was weak. :o I sold a $1000 drawing over the weekend, so I was feeling a bit flush (for a change)

I'm going to need a bucket. :D

Jealous. :p

I honestly think I'm not going to be buying any new knives this summer--just lots of machetes. No joke. :D

Oh, and a power sander so it doesn't take me so long to polish the blades by hand. That Nicholson/Collins is taking longer than I had hoped it would! Got one side up to mirror brightness, though, so that's a start!

ETA: Hey Joe! Is that gargantuan grass chopper the 20" Machete de Suelo on Cam's site? If so that might be my first Machete Specialist order! :D

Works good. Took very few swings to get through this 1.5" sapling on my property.
