Is the Ritter griprilian worth the extra $$

Is they making M2 models any more?

Thanks, Vassili

OK, I just got confirmation - no more M2 models ever...

I don't need 154CM or S30V, I could have done with my old 440C models, but I like the blade shape of the Ritter Grips. Definitely worth the extra coin.

Thank you all for your advise I think i may Go for the Rittergrip, it seems more practicle for me in the long run. thanks alot Steve for the picture its nice to see them side by side for comparison.:D

It's sad aeromedix still has it exclusive.
They ask a lot to send one to Europe.
Such fine knives should be worldwide available.

The reason that I wouldn't get a Ritter Grip is because I like the oval hole a lot more than thumbstuds. I wish they'd make a Ritter Grip with the sheepsfoot and opening hole  I might prefer D2 to s30v, though, so I could go for a d2 sheepsfoot too. And a 154 cm sheepsfoot. And I'd keep my 440c. And carry them all at once! :D

Too bad you missed the M2. I have had a mini in M2 for awile now and I absolutely love it! Best edge retention I've ever had. better than ATS34, S30V and my D2 blades.
It is my first M2 blade. I dont regrete the purchase at all. In fact knowing what I do now, I would have payed more than I did for the M2. Stays sharp for a very long time and when it does get dull, just a few swipes with the fine hone and its shavin' sharp again. Sweet!:D

I think you will have a pretty tough time finding the M2 version, and D2 is better than S30V IMO.

I54CM is no slouch though. Personally I'd get the Cabelas D2 version.

I don't think the Ritter Grip is worth the extra money. You could buy two regular grips for the price.
