If you want a flipper that looks good try Zeiba knives. Made in Brooklyn, M390, Ti, and less than $700; you can afford to carry it. They also look good, particularly with the 24K gold plated spacer. I have an S1-mini. Yes I use it, don't have a safe anyway![]()
Exactly the reason I sold my Hati. LOVED the knife, but CRKs offer all of the high end precision machining I need (& can afford) for now. Also it seems apparent that CRK's warranty service is outstanding. The only thing about a user Shiro is the warranty work I would imagine.
You never know...! If you’re more of a traditionalist, try one on washers. They’re eerily smooth. Can't say I have tried a shiro and do say I want to try one, but find it hard to believe they can be better than custom flippers for a similar price range. But you never know until you try one.
I have no doubt I will be impressed. I'll post a little review once it's at my door stepHinderer are good flippers if you don’t know what a good flipper is![]()
As an American patriot I won't give money to support Russia or Russians.
They have been our sworn enemies for a long time.
There are too many non tainted great knives produced here to to fall for Shiros.
No kidding.That's hilarious.
My god...they are learning ..Watch what you say leafblade,
I think there may be Russians in this thread, right now as we speak! They are here to spy and try to steal what makes America great!
Watch out, they have already developed blue jeans.
I have no doubt I will be impressed. I'll post a little review once it's at my door step
...I have literally zero proof one way or another, just was curious if anyone knew definitively one way or another. Has anyone else heard of this? Does someone have something to say about it definitively?
If Shirogorov and Hinderer were the same price I would still stick with Hinderer. All I really want in my knives is a very well made working man's knife. If Shirogorov were in the States it would be much tougher.Guys call me a hypocrite and a dumba$$ but I bought a Hinderer instead..I've decided that for whats in the "flipper" market..Hindy seemed like a solid bet. My only concern is carrying 5.2oz give or take around in my pocket all day ..but hey the sebenza comes in a nearly 4.7-5oz so hopefully I won't notice any difference!
That's what I'm hoping for my friend. I'll convince myself for now that Shiro is just a nice "gentlemans" flipper. If Shirogorov and Hinderer were the same price I would still stick with Hinderer. All I really want in my knives is a very well made working man's knife. If Shirogorov were in the States it would be much tougher.
Raining on the parade!I got to try a bunch of flipper knives at the USN event in Vegas. Shiro was very good, but not worth the price imo. Hinderer was the worst. Begg Steelcraft Mini Bodega and Viper Storm were the best value imo.
