I just received back my ZT302 from Kershaw's warranty dept. and they
didn't return my box. It still has blade play too but at least they fixed
the closing on a light spine wack. I figure it's time to talk to someone in charge, as this is a $200 knife and shouldn't have any play. Does
anyone have his e mail?

Thanks

p.s.- I know he still posts here but wasn't able to click on his profile to
email him.

Thats because you are just a "registered" user. In order to be able to use any of the good stuff that other sites allow you to use for free, here you gotta pay.

So do as I do, and pay $10.00 a year. Actually it is worth it!
See up top where it says "Upgrade your forum experience".
Then you can have it all, even though other sites let you do it for nothing.
If you like knives, you gotta pay.

I have been unemployed since January 03, 2009.

$10.00 is half the price of a good bottle of hooch! :D

I don't think I own a $200 knife. I do not even spine whack my $40 knife.

I have a few $200.00 knives.

I've never spine whacked any of them.

That is something you only see in Cold Steel flicks.:jerkit:

Starting a thread here is like putting up the bat signal for Batman. The Kershaw Crusader will surely know you're looking for him.

Before jumping on the guy about the term "spine whack", you gotta know what he's referring to. Even Sal Glesser thinks light spine taps are justified in checking for the security of a lock.

You are right, I read it again and I realize I was percieving batoning more than spine whack test for lock up. I hope the OP forgives me for my levity.:o
