The thing about Mick and Duane that you should keep in mind is that they ARE knife people! They take making tough blades for people who put their lives on the line very seriously. As Mick's pics show (Hmm... you need a Mick's Pics section on the Strider website showing testing and such!) they test their knives a lot. A lot! Mick and Duane are the last makers who would let something out the door that they aren't sure about. I have asked a few questions about design matters on the Strider forum, as I ama hobby maker and am interested in why the Strider guys do the things they do. Mick always responds with info about how he tested a lot and modified designs until they would perform the way they should. I guess I just wanted to say to go ahead and ask the Strider guys questions you have about Strider knives. Mick's pics show that they'll be upfront and honest.

What became of that knife? If you still have it I'd be glad to give it a happy home. I could keep it sharp and give it lots of attention. It's just a thought.
