Is there any Custom & Handmade Knives here?

The Strider guys are making a propriety Titanium material right now (in conjunction with Crucible Steel) that rockwells near 70c and is tough as can be.

They had some at Blade last year, and I understand they are now making knives out of the stuff, but it is very expensive.
I am interested to learn more about that!! It sounds VERY interesting!

i swear, the OP is ren on a pseudonym just yankin our cranks......

please God tell me its so.

Sorry not me...but I do think the OP has got an idea but has no knowledge of Steel. I am not the man to give the education but you makers are.

Summing it up to this point..I guess there is a uber hard diamond steel but its cost is so outrageous and its hardness is so well hard its impossible to work with without breaking...

the OP keeps talking about steels in Watches, Safe walls, Bumpers of 57 chevys..but knows nothing about blade steel. a safe wall steel does not equate to a good knife steel..

Wait a minute! You mean the guy that sold me a knife from German army tank armor plate ripped my off for $9.95? He said it was good steel 'cuz look how tough tanks are. I am shamed.

What you doing, Gene, buying a knife when you can make your own?!! May cost you more than $9.95, but I'm sure it will serve you better, lol.

Seriously, Gene makes nice blades. I have finished 7 and use one every day.
