Is that a Phillips head screw for the LBS?

No I think it's torx.
But for some reason it looks kinda IFI to me.
To be honest I would spend the extra $ to get it from someone reputable.

also the pocket clip and lanyard hole look a little small.

The logo on the back looks off as well.

It bothers me that the knife has no markings whatsoever, not even a ZT, or any names. Just a random made in usa sign. Also, pics of all the striders I've seen have flippers, and the handles contour more. I say no go.

Why would a Strider folder have the Zero Tolerance logo? You don't make sense. There are no Striders I've ever seen with flippers. If you don't know what your looking at, it's probably a good idea to refrain from giving "advice". ;)

You made your master very sad my young apprentice. No Strider smf or any other strider has a flipper. The ZT 030x has a flipper and is a strider colab. To the op, it looks too suspicious.

I'm guessing/hoping/praying he somehow got the smf and the ZT030x series confused considering Strider collaborated with ZT on it.

That's it! No flipper. I knew something was amiss. The stampings look very clean and crisp which makes me leery. There are a lot of good copies out there. You may want to do some more home work so you know what you are buying. If you need to ask if it's a CC or Lego then you should probably spend more time on the GP, TNK and Strider sites.

This SMF is iffy.

I cannot find another SMF with the exact same stamped logo.
Small details like: Edge facing wrong way, no shield surrounding knife, incorrect handle detail. Etc.

Looks real to me. The only think that seems amiss is the lanyard hole looks small but that could be the way the pics make it look. However, I don't think a Strider ever came in 154cm, but has in CPM-154.
The guy may be wrong on the steel. But it looks real to me.
Or it's the best Strider fake I've ever seen.

I think he was confused with the ZT/Strider Collabs. ;) I was confused for a second as well.

Other than that, thats a Lego model and it does look iffy to me as well. I'd stay away, plenty of other places to get an Authentic Strider w/o thinking twice.

thank you, my apology he did say the blade steel is, CPM-154. it looks really nice but still kind of iffy still. maybe more paranoid now haha.
