Is this a Blackwashed ZT 0801 that is renamed MM01K Minuteman?

The CGA company, Minuteman watches and Thomas Carey are definitely on the up and up. They have some really cool original designs for reasonable prices. And it benefits veterans! Win-win

Thank you so much for the kind words & support! =) I do know most of you on the forum at this point are most likely not familiar with me or my efforts.

But we have been around a bit especially our regular retail business. Rest assured we are out there to help veterans and provide work for fellow Americans. Not to get rich or flat our fleece people which sadly I have found some are.

Again I would really like to thank the membership here for the support. In fact at this point we have had at least member who has ordered 2 of these knives. I was asked if there is a limit on how many a single person can order. The answer to that is no there is no limit.

I did not know & was shocked to learn it's not un-common for dealers, and makers to limit people on the amount they can purchase in some cases. Particularly when a particular knife is limited and high demand.

It is common and actually a good practice, IMHO. The reason that some dealers do that is so that more of their customers can get their hands on one of the items in demand.

"Flippers" are people who buy knives - or other items - with the sole intent of flipping the knife for a large profit, sometimes as much as double or triple the original cost. If there was no limit, these folks would buy a large number of these items and flip them on an auction site or elsewhere for a large markup. Regular customers would then be left in the cold. Dealers would prefer that their customers get at least one of the items in demand rather than a flipper getting most of them.

It is really beneficial for both the customer and dealer for the regular guy to get a fair shot at one each rather than letting professional flippers get most of them just to make money off of them. The more desirable/collectable the item, the more likely for flippers to get involved.

Hope that clarifies it some for you. When your knives became very collectible and highly sought after (something that I think is very possible), you'll run into this dilemma as well. ;)

Thanks so much for the great info! =) I honestly can't imagine having that level of success but you never know. =)

This will make up for me not being able to get the 801BRWCF, I actually like this one better and and at a lower cost than the BRWCF!

For those wondering as of right now we only have about 34 knives left. Thanks to all of you for the support. =) This is a great way to raise funds for veterans and offer a great knife to you fine folks. =)

Although I may not be able to afford one of your knives, they are indeed beautiful pieces and you have my support. I appreciate what you're trying to do.

My old man fought in Vietnam and I grew up with the utmost respect for our military.

Thanks so much for the kind words. My father is a disabled Vietnam veteran and was a major influence in my creation of our brand and its efforts as a whole.

At this point I do want to point out we have just 34 of these left. Thus far at least 2 people have ordered 2. There is no limit on the amount a single person can order on these. =)

Good question. We are not going to number them due to increased cost, complexity, and based on feedback on social media about that before hand.

Just realized with Memorial Day on the way its a perfect time for our effort to raise funds for veterans with our knife etc. =)

I already have a customized 0801, so I've got all the ZT goodness I need, but wanted to say thank you for offering such a great product and for such a great cause. Thank you, brother.

I think part of the reason these have not sold out pronto in so many long (14+) days and very limited quantities (50) could perhaps be that ZT may release a ZT 0801BW at a later date exclusive to one dealer or not. It could also be the lack of any ZT markings on the knife.
