Is this a fake 25

My instincts are telling me this is a fake 25. But what do you guys think?
I know clone 25's that are coming from China right now have all the packaging that you would get with the real deal.
They even throw in a leather slip. To me the leather slip looks fake and so does the box. Its hard to tell just by looking
at the knife but everything together and the fact its shipping from Israel is telling me fake.

Looks fake to me. The blade looks like it has a deeper hollow grind almost like a 21.
 
Its a shame its already been bid up to $250. Someones not going to be happy when they receive this knife.
 
It is tough to tell. The logo is just blurry enough to make it tough. It looks like the bottom right of the 'R' is straight. It is supposed to be curved. The birthday card looks like a copy too.

IF it were me, I'd pass.
 
it is absolutely a fake! nice spot!, and the first time I've seen a set of fake box and papers. the 25 never came with that style box, the blade grind is completely wrong , the logo is too deep, and the holes for the pivot pin look to be recessed into the scale. I have reported this to eBay. looks like this guy scammed someone earlier as well.
 
I think you are correct on it being a fake. I am not sure when crk changed to the new box style and typed bday cards, that could be a good indicator along with the blade and pouch. The overseas location and the comment about the knife being "100% authentic" makes wonder also.
I personally would never buy a crk off the bay, there are too many fakes out there!

Your right. Looking at his history he already sold this exact knife for $311. Same pics and description. This guy needs to be booted off Ebay.
 
Weird; there were more pictures of it when I looked at it a second time. Definitely a fake.

I was foolish enough to buy a Mnandi from an ebay seller in the same country as this one. The lock bar started to slip and I sent it in. CRK called to advise it was fake. Said it was a good one, they didn't know until they dismantled it.

So they sent it back. I took it apart again, bent the lockbar over so it doesn't slip anymore, and use it for a letter opener. Lesson learned.
 
Very crappy fake IMO. Shipping from Isreal should be a clue too.

Actually, I got my Left Hand 25 from a well respected dealer here on BF, (KSF) and it came in the older rectangular box. The one being sold does look like a fake though...
 
What?!??! It's say "100% authentic" right there in the eBay listing! Can't be a fake... :rolleyes:

Oh my mistake, I thought the new packaging had started before the 25. Thanks for the catch.
