No problem. Birthdate for mine is March 17, 2015...guess they're going to use the new boxes for all you right handed folk, while we right minded people will be getting the vintage boxes :D

Definite Fake. Not going to go into reasons to help the counterfieters out, but it's a fake. That again is why you ONLY buy from CRK or their Dealers. You think your saving $$, but in reality your buying crap from China.
 
I feel sorry for the people who are bidding on this. Wish there was some way to warn them. I understand why Ebay must be the way it is, to prevent worse situations in auctions, but it does create an avenue for this sort of fraud. This person is a first-rate bag of the douche sort.

You guys should believe him! Its just ironic that this knife and and the knife he sold 2 weeks ago have the same DOB! HAHA

SOB didn't even change that in his listing. I would have been fooled if I didn't see this thread though. The differences aren't as apparent to me as to others but there is a slight difference in the grind I can notice. Can't really tell if it has jimping or not and the blurriness of the pictures make it tough to tell if the lock bar is beveled as well.

Someone should ask the question 'Is this a clone?" . Maybe that would alert potential buyers
 
The 25 never came in that style box. Its fake plain and simple. You cant buy a new sebenza 25 for 250$ from a dealer. Ever. Period. Luckily you didnt win the auction.
 
I just reported the item as fake (link on lower right corner of listing). We may be able to save the high bidder some real headache...
 
Pull up a picture of a real 25 and compare side by side. It's an obvious fake.

Not to confuse anyone, but yes, the 25 did come in the old style box. I've got three with the old style box. Two made in 2013 and my left handed 25 I just got, 2015

I am the one who won the auction. I told the seller to cancel the sale because it is a fake. Waiting on a response. If he doesn't cancel and ships it i will mail it in to be authenticated then present that information to ebay. More than likely they will shut the seller down for shipping counterfeit goods. I have up to a year to do this so i will get my $ back. I just wanted to thank you guys for looking out.
 
I'd file a PayPal claim now. Especially since you would have to deal with shipping from Israel.

If you do get it, please post pictures of it in this thread.
 
Update. I sent the seller this.

I sent you messages to retract and cancel. Again the item was represented as 100% authentic. The logo is wrong the blade grind is wrong and the new style 25 did not come in that box. My only recourse is to have you cancel the transaction or i get it authenticated then get my money back when it is deemed counterfeit. Then ebay has advised they will take action against the seller.
