Is this counterfeit worth it?

You're right...was just having too much fun beating on the brat...

fnzeee, save your breath, man. I think Esav is about to flush the toilet anyway. This dude's just here looking for a little excitement at 2 am with Born to Lose tattooed on his forehead.

I understand completely. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. He appears to have some time left, indulge yourself :D!

Ha oh boy, now the community starts putting together semi-witty responses. Nice, assuming that I'm poor and lack intelligence. Almost reminds me of stupid grade school insults. Once again, I'm not looking to only buy cheap crap, just a cheap karambit to get a feel for the style and make a decision on it. And hey, if I can spend $17 instead of $30, then why the hell not? I don't need it soon, I can wait 20-30 days.

You guys are fun. Anyone else want to quote this without reading it and try to come up with an insult?

I'm good...Sam?

I think I'll be ok. I got most of it out of my system on that FFK guy the last couple of days. That felt good! This one is more like kicking roadkill- not much point.

Buying a cheap knock off to see if youd like the real thing aint a bad idea. ppl are gonna cry about the ethics of it but ppl cry about everything. I bought a cheap d/a otf knife cuz i wanted a microtech, and ended up being satisfied with the cheapie.

Exactly. It's taking a gamble. Sure it's more likely that I'll get crap, but hey, if I luck out on it, then there's no reason to complain. That's the only thing that's really got me on the fence about this.

BTW, like that Model 1...impressive performance.

Thank you. I've been having a blast with this knifemaking thing. So far, the Model 1 is my favorite. Just can't kill it, yet...:D

See, here's a response. To the most of you that didn't read anything, I also asked if I should consider buying a crap knife like a Tac Force. Though there's no TF, it still reeks of United and is full of cheap crap. He gave a suggestion without adding the spruced up "lol ur dum" comment.

I'll look into these options, thanks.

Budk would be good for what your asking for here. Either way you can get a low price karambit to see if you like them, but ordering from Budk will mean that it will be shipped from the USA and not take a month to get here.

For the OP.
I have not read every post nor do I care to.
You seem to be both interested and somewhat knowledgeable when it comes to shiny pointy stuff. My guess is that the broad statements you have made regarding members of this community will get you banned. You *may* be able to avoid that by removing some of your more offensive content. I'm just guessing there. But as a member of this community I'm going to ask you to rescind a few things anyway.

As for the subject itself, you may have noticed that counterfeits are a touchy subject. I see your point and I also understand some of the reactions. Personally I would say avoid the counterfeit; at the very best it will be a gross misrepresentation of the quality and function of the original product. I just don't see that you have anything to gain there.

I hope it's not too late for you to climb out of this mess. I think you would enjoy it if you stuck around.

It's a bit too gaudy for me.

Maybe look at the M-tech line of karambits, they aren't great, but atleast there is a real company backing them. The problem with cheap folding karambits is that they always skimp on the most important parts like the lock work.

Does it have to be a folder? The Hibben, United Honshu, and certain Mtech fixed karambits are actually pretty decent for the money involved.
