the blade has been satinized. scotchbrite, belt sander, sandpaper, or whatever, could easily remove the logo.

not strange at all, really.

I aggree with statement above this CQC7 looks just like my BM emerson 970 it is also tip down carry and I used a Scotchbrite to polish up the blade and make it look like new again, I say this is a legit blade and congrats to the buyer, 60 bucks is a good deal...

Just an update guys: this knife has been returned back to me only to be resold to now a very happy owner.
