It sounds a daft question but but speaking for myself my most carried knife is my SwampWarden but I very rarely use it, it is just handy to take everywhere with me !
Ironically, I think my most used knife may be one that I've never carried anywhere. You know the type - it's the knife hanging around in your garage, or your workbench or wherever you do all kinds of stuff. You never carry it anywhere, but you often grab it for some task or the other.
Yep. My most carried knife are actually two knives. I carry my Izula and my Recon 1 folder every single day. I use both all day long for everything from eating my food to opening shipments to cutting the top off my bag of sunflower seeds. I even use the izula to stir my coffee. I used to EDC a RC-4 also, but now I just trust these two to get everything done. I also carry a Leatherman Charge TTi that sees a ton of use throughout a normal day.
My most carried is my most used. My Spyderco Centofante III is used for just about all daily cuting tasks. Cutting shrink wrap, opening boxes, twine, rope, even serves as my table knife when lunch hour rolls around. Cleand first of course.
Most carried is the Vic Explorer which I have carried every day for 35 years. I am on my third one as I have worn the large blade off of the first two. I probably use it ten times a day. Second is a convexed S&W Extreme Ops which is a very good quality folder with excellent steel. Most carried Fixed is the Mora 740 which I convexed and pinned the handle on.
Yes but it's just a matter of opportunity usually. My Blade Tech MLEK is always clipped to me and gets used a couple times a day usually.
Most of the time when I'm cooking I am just opening a package or slicing an onion real quick, it does great for that work. I don't even open the knife drawer most times.
My most carried knives are my Case peanut (white-collar edc) or Vic Spirit multitool (on my own time). These are my most used as well.
As for my outdoors knives, I sort of make it a point to use the one I brought just for the fun of using one that I don't carry as often, even if my lowly multitool blade could do the job.
That is just sad man. The hollow handle can't create that much of a current. Then you have coffee dripping from your paracord wrap all over the place.... I think instead you should use the awl of your SAK and froth that thing into a cappuccino
I have carried a folder(s) for years now I am down to two small FB knives,my pink Izula and BRK&T Mini Canadian....& a LM Wave...
the mini C see action Daily with the Izula in waiting....due to the Izula is a necker (inside Tee Shirt )and Mini C is on belt...
hard to say really, i change out my EDC several times a day and they ALL get used. ironically, they have all stirred coffee.
i would have to say though that when i carry my Emerson SNUBBY or the CQC 7BW , they see extensive use, much more than any of my blades. i think becasue they are smaller i can use them in public without people gasping for air and gibbering.
In the last few months, I've been carrying and using the heck out of my diminutive Boker Keycom. It's sheeple friendly and has a great blade for opening packages, envelopes and picking out splinters. The tip is fine like an exacto blade but much thicker.
Before I got it I carried a Benchmade 330 gent's knife for the better part of a decade. Too bad the model didn't last.
I also carried my Benchmade Pinnacle a lot, but it freaked out folks and for most of the day-to-day work I encountered, it wasn't needed. Good to have if the need arises though.
my 2 most carried knives, are definately the ones that see the most action...they're my EDC benchmade mini-griptillian and my Breeden Tyson bushcrafter...
The most carried knife for me is my Vic classic, which is on my key chain. I doubt I have ever used the small knive blade or fingernail tool but use the scissors fairly often. The knives I use the most are usually larger folding knives (currently carrying Spyderco delica ZDP 189).
I have been carrying a ZT Mudd knife alot lately. I want to try it on cleaning a deer, but none will stand still. I like how the pivot is sealed from dirt and grime.
