Is your most carried knife your most used knife ?

Pit, it is an excellent question!

My most carried is my most used. It's my original old Gerber folding lockblade.
I have had it since 1984 and it's my "pocket carry".
Anytime keys and wallet go, so does the Gerber. It opens letters, UPS boxes, cuts string, slices bagels and wittles pencils.
it's also my most sharpened, needing touch up every now and then.

I always EDC one of my Randalls. I use them alot (when I'm in the woods) alot of the time its cutting food or opening mail or just sitting on my hip. I always carry a old Busse SJTac into the woods and beat the hell out of it but its so dull I only carry it to baton wood.
 
Yes. I carry my Vic "Farmer" every day, and is used just about the same amount. Some days it's out of my pocket three or four times.

My Spyderco Mini-Manix probably gets carried more than any other knife I own. Pretty close second is my Vic Farmer. That's my normal pair when in town and places a fixed blade isn't appropriate. Both get used on a daily basis.
 
my most carried knife is my SAK outrider, which almost never gets used as a knife! My most used knives are my leuku pattern BC, my shop knife, and my necker.
 
For me if there are sheeple about, out comes the Vic Farmer. I also carry and use my Benchmade 556, mini Griptilian. I also carry and use an old Leatherman 200, I believe. These get use every day all the time. They come out at least once a day.
 
Yeah, I carry a Ka-Bar Mule the most and use it the most.

If you meant the most carried outdoors blade -- then no. But only because my most carried is a kukri, and the secondary knife that gets used more changes depending on what I felt like carrying that time.
 
Lately I've been carrying a Victorinox SAK Camper on my keychain.
Usually I back that up with a BM710 folder, but lately, it's just been the
SAK.
 
Benchmade 530 and a Case swayback jack daily, and yes they are my most used knives though there are many others in stiff competition with them. :)
 
My most carried knife (SAK farmer with clip) is the most used. I use my Kosters Bushcraft more than I carry it. And when I carry it - I tend not to use it.

These are the three I tend to carry and use the most these days. :cool:

The little one is a Bark River Blackwater Boot Knife; it’s usually in a pocket sheath paired with a LED flashlight.

The big one is my custom modified Bark River Gameskeeper II; I carry it in the woods daily.

The middle one is the new Recurve Fox River; it is usually paired with one the other two, and is often replaced by a Bark River Escort or a Stephen Fowler Stone Mountain, depending on my plans.
